WWE sets 32-competitor field for King and Queen of the Ring
WWE has confirmed the full brackets for the 2026 King and Queen of the Ring Tournaments, with 32 competitors across both draws announced following the Clash in Italy event. Each bracket opens with fatal four-way matches, with the survivors advancing to singles quarter-finals that determine the two finalists on each side. Both tournaments will conclude at Night of Champions, where the winners earn title shots at SummerSlam.
On the men’s side, the left half of the draw features Penta, Oba Femi, Solo Sikoa, and Carmelo Hayes in one fatal four-way, and Dominik Mysterio, Bron Breakker, Trick Williams, and Damian Priest in the other. The right half pairs Seth Rollins, Je’Von Evans, Talla Tonga, and Ricky Saints in one match, with Jey Uso, LA Knight, Royce Keys, and Finn Balor completing the bracket. The women’s draw is equally stacked: the left side places Liv Morgan, Becky Lynch, Alexa Bliss, and Chelsea Green together, alongside Sol Ruca, Lyra Valkyria, Charlotte Flair, and Jade Cargill. The right side features Roxanne Perez, Iyo Sky, Giulia, and Lash Legend in one match, with Bayley, Raquel Rodriguez, Jacy Jayne, and Kiana James rounding out the field.
Liv Morgan enters the women’s tournament as Women’s World Champion and stated on the Clash in Italy post-show that she is targeting further gold. The tournament format carries established precedent: in 2025, Cody Rhodes won the King of the Ring and subsequently defeated John Cena for the Undisputed WWE Championship at SummerSlam, while Jade Cargill claimed the Queen of the Ring before falling to Tiffany Stratton in a Women’s Championship match.
With LA Knight and Trick Williams having publicly declared their intentions ahead of the bracket reveal, the field is set and competition begins as the road to Night of Champions and, ultimately, SummerSlam takes shape.
