Warner to Fan: “No Need” to Quit PSL for IPL
An Indian fan told David Warner to leave the PSL and come back to the IPL. Warner wasn’t interested.
After Karachi Kings were eliminated from the PSL 11 playoff race, a fan commented on Warner’s Instagram telling him to quit Pakistan and return to India’s league. Warner replied with four words: “No need for that now.”
He didn’t elaborate. He didn’t have to. Warner has made his decision to be part of the PSL — even through a turbulent season that included a drink-driving charge and the controversy around teammate Moeen Ali — and he’s not walking away because an online stranger told him to.
