UP athletes dominate TOISA 2025 across sports
Athletes from Uttar Pradesh made a strong mark at TOISA 2025, winning top honours across cricket and para sports at the recent awards event in India, underlining the state’s steady rise in Indian sport through consistent performances and better development systems.
Several winners were recognised for their performances over the past season, with one cricketer saying, “This award is the result of years of hard work,” while a para-athlete shared, “It shows that nothing is impossible if you keep pushing.”
Coaches also credited improved facilities and grassroots programmes. “We are now seeing the impact of proper planning,” one coach said.
The performance once again highlights UP’s growing presence in Indian sport, with its athletes continuing to deliver at the highest level.
