Sahyadri AdventureX: Pune hosts Feb 7-8 two-day endurance
Pune will stage Casuarina AdventureX on February 7-8, 2026, bringing a multi-discipline endurance “expedition” to the Sahyadris near the Bhatghar dam backwaters in Bhor as organisers target a new benchmark for the region’s adventure-sport scene. The weekend will mix cycling, trail running, hiking and river crossings, with a flagship 150km Sahyadri Expedition route plus shorter options.
Founder Mahendra Lokare said the concept is “not just a race, but an expedition,” adding: “This event is more than a physical challenge; it’s an emotional experience.” Promoters also describe it as “a journey through nature, history and resilience,” with routes expected to trace historic trails linking forts such as Sinhagad, Rajgad and Torna.
