RCB to host five home matches at Chinnaswamy

Royal Challengers Bengaluru will play five of their home games at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium during the 2026 IPL season, with the remaining fixtures expected to be moved within Karnataka due to scheduling and logistical considerations.
The Karnataka State Cricket Association confirmed the decision, stating that Bengaluru will remain RCB’s primary base. “Chinnaswamy continues to be our home fortress. We are happy to host five matches here,” a KSCA official told Times of India.
An RCB source added, “Our fans in Bengaluru create a special atmosphere. We look forward to strong support again in 2026.”
The partial relocation is understood to be part of venue management plans. “We are working to ensure smooth operations across all designated venues,” the official said.
RCB have traditionally enjoyed strong home backing at Chinnaswamy, where high-scoring contests have often defined their IPL campaigns.
