Virat Kohli is back in the nets. But the strapping on his left knee tells a story.
The RCB talisman trained at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium on Tuesday ahead of the LSG clash, facing bowlers and throw-down specialists without visible discomfort. Still — the injury from Sunday’s win over MI has not been cleared. The final call on his availability will come closer to toss time on match day.
Kohli batted through the pain against MI, scoring 50 off 38 before Hardik Pandya dismissed him in the 15th over. He went off earlier for treatment and the concern has lingered since.
RCB need him. The question is whether his knee agrees.
