Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, who led the race earlier and still has 37 sixes to his name, sits close behind.
Rahul’s numbers are steady rather than explosive — no century, no 150-strike-rate cameo, just runs. First over, every match, accumulating quietly while batters around him try to go bigger.
The race has four or five names genuinely in it. Sooryavanshi could move back to the top with one big innings. Sai Sudharsan is there too. Sanju Samson’s 87 last night has pushed him into the top five.
