Khelo India Winter Games 2026 begin in Leh
The Khelo India Winter Games 2026 officially got underway on Tuesday in Leh, Ladakh, marking another step in India’s push to develop winter sports. Athletes from across the country will compete in multiple disciplines during the event.
Officials said hosting the Games in Ladakh highlights the region’s growing role in winter sports. “This platform helps identify and nurture young talent,” an organiser said.
