India Crush Zimbabwe as Malhotra, Sooryavanshi Shine

India’s U-19 team stormed to a dominant win over Zimbabwe at the U-19 World Cup on Monday, powered by standout performances from Vihaan Malhotra and Vaibhav Sooryavanshi. The emphatic victory strengthened India’s position in the group stage.
Malhotra anchored the innings with a composed half-century, while Sooryavanshi added quick runs to push India to a commanding total. “The plan was to play smart cricket and put pressure on them,” Malhotra said after the match.
Zimbabwe struggled in reply, collapsing under disciplined bowling as India wrapped up the game with overs to spare. Sooryavanshi praised the team effort. “Everyone contributed, and that’s what matters in tournaments like this,” he said.
India’s coach also lauded the youngsters. “The boys stayed focused and executed well,” he noted.
The win keeps India firmly on track for the knockout stages of the tournament.
