Hardik Pandya Misses MI vs LSG With Back Spasms, Return Date Unclear

Mumbai Indians captain missed the LSG match with the injury — and Rickelton, stepping in as skipper, admitted he had no timeline on when Pandya would return. “I found out this afternoon that he had back spasms,” he said. “I don’t want to call it an injury. I’m unaware of the extent of how bad it is or what he’s feeling.”
Rohit Sharma did come back from his own injury to play. But Pandya’s absence leaves a hole at the top of MI’s plans heading into the second half of the tournament.
MI travel to Raipur next to face RCB on May 10. Rickelton expects Pandya to travel with the squad. Whether he plays is another question.
